A helicopter belonging to the Ethiopian army in Sudan fell to the United Nations base; 3 crew members lost their lives.
The accident occurred in the south of Sudan, in the Abyei region of Southern Kordofan Province.
As a result of the fall of the Ethiopian military helicopter in the United Nations (UN) peacekeeping force, 3 people lost their lives, 3 of them were injured and 10 others were injured.
The UN Interim Security Force (UNISFA), located in the Abyei region on the Sudanese-Sudanese border, said that the Mi-8-type military helicopter with 23 crew members from Ethiopia fell to UNISFA's headquarters. The helicopter performs a routine flight and the reason for the decline is not known yet.
